Biography Yulaeva Salavat

Salavat Yulayev (05 (16) .06.1752 – 26.09 (08.10) 1800), was born in the village Tekeevo now Salavat district Bashkir ASSR. Bashkir national hero, a close associate of EI Pugachev during the Peasants' War 1773 – 1775, poet-improviser. His father Yulai Aznalin participated in the Bashkir rebellion 1735 – 1740 (see Bashkir rebellion 17 – 18 cc.). In October 1773 S. Yulayev was mobilized to fight the Pugachev, but with Sterlitamakskij squad defected to the rebels, who waged the siege of Orenburg. Pugachev S. gave Yulayev rank of colonel. In late November 1773 he was sent to the northeastern Bashkortostan, where he assembled a team of 10 thousand people and, together with the rebels successfully fought in the area Krasnoufimsk and Kungur. In late May and June 1774 acted together with Pugachev, who made it to the rank of Brigadier, proved himself a talented military leader. He continued to fight after the defeat of the uprising and arrest Pugacheva. November 24, 1774 at village Medyash was captured and sent to Ufa, then to Moscow. After a lengthy investigation in September 1775 with his father, also a party revolt, flogged, branded, and October 3, 1775 sent to penal servitude in the Baltic fortress Rogervik. Poetry C. Yulaeva – one of the best manifestations of pre-revolutionary Bashkir literature. His poetry has urged the people to fight against the oppressors ("Battle", "Arrow", "young man and a warrior"), extolled the beauty of his native land ("Native Land", "My Ural", "Nightingale"), love ("Zyuleyha") . Artworks S. Yulaeva sesenami passed from mouth to mouth. In honor of St. Yulaeva named town of Salavat in Bashkortostan: established by the State Prize of the Bashkir ASSR them. S. Yulaeva for the best works of literature and art. The image of S. Yulaeva recreated in the works of Pushkin, P.
