Vedenyapin Apollo V. (1804 – 02 (14) .07.1872), Decembrist. Lieutenant 9 Artillery Brigade, a member of the Society of United Slavs (May 1825). Son of the landed gentry. A defender of the revolution brought to the soldiers and the masses, objected to the consolidation of the Company connected with the Southern Slavs Society of the Decembrists, who advocated "military revolution" without the participation of the people. He was sentenced to perpetual exile, who served in Kirenske, and Irkutsk. On amnesty in 1856 he returned to European Russia. Lit.: Siberia and the Decembrists.
