Biography Hama

Ham (Heb. "hot brown") – the youngest son of Noah. The famous act of his in relation to his father (Genesis IX, 20-23) has incurred the wrath of his father, predrekshego slavery descendants of his son Canaan. From four sons: Cush, Mizraim, Foote and Canaan Ham had numerous offspring, populated by Egypt (the latter is often called the land of Hama (Psal. LXXVII, 51 and others), Ethiopia, part of Babylonia, Palestine, etc. The Bible mentions the descendants of Ham yet in the war king of Shinar with three of his allies against the five kings of Canaan (Gen. Sec. XIV), and the conquests of the descendants of Simeon in Arabia at the time of King Hezekiah (1 pair. IV, 40).
